What a beauty, Joan - wonderfully done!!! I'll be in NY visiting my mom in Islip -- she's dismissed her nurses for the time I'm there, so I don't think I can get away -- I do think my sisters are planning to take me to the ARboretum -- which one I don't know -- sometime this weekend ...they're not ones for waiting around while I sketch ... but if you have a chance (after I find out what's going on when), maybe we could at least meet?
So deceptively simple and so simply beautiful. Love what you do in all these sketching runs you make, Joan. Wish I had the time and energy to do the same. I know my painting would just have to improve if I could do the same.
