On Thursday we took the Cross Sound Ferry from Orient Point to New London, CT while traveling up to my sister's house for the Christmas holidays. We left a day early because they were forecasting snow for Friday. I like taking the ferry because it always gives me the opportunity to do a bit of sketching on a day that is spent mostly in the car and I am usually driving. This lady in the middle looks like she needed a nap.
Great sketch. Fun capture. I’m the opposite, don’t care for ferry riding. I have to walk the whole time! We took a long ride from Digby, Nova Scotia, to St. John’s. I got my hiking in for the week!
