Poinsettia

At this time of year I usually have a few poinsettias around...good subjects for a sketch.

    Absolutely gorgeous. They grow into huge trees in Bolivia and South America. We had one in our yard in Peru, about 25 feet tall. In the main plaza in Cochabamba, Bolivia, they were the main trees. 50 - 75 feet tall, ancient and beautiful.

    I love these, have a couple I am going to try to nurse along after the season. Man can you believe 50-75 foot high poinsettias?
